REGARDING SOME OF OUR EXPERIENCES WITH

CONKLIN’S FASTRACK PRODUCTS

Our family has had a lot of horses in the past and still do.  A lot of different problems have arisen as they tend to do with any horses (or dogs or any other animal and human),  and we’ve all had a lot of experience in what to do with those problems.  With Fastrack we have cut our feed bills down……..WAY down (and in this day and time who can’t use that).  We have 10 horses (AQHA & APHA) who literally waddle around our place they are so fat and healthy.  To give you just a small example, there are several of them that only get ½ to ¾ of a 13 ou. coffee can of a 12% good quality sweet feed twice daily, as well as their good quality prairie hay.  Most of them are in the 14.2 to 15 hand range, and they weigh over 1200 lbs.  Our smallest is about 14.1 hands and weighs approximately 1100 lbs.  They are ALL on Fastrack powder daily (for maintenance) and the gel (for emergencies, if needed).  We’ve just recently began some of them on the product Conklin has called Fortifier and we are VERY pleased with the results it has produced.

                           "HIPSHOT”

OUR DAUGHTER’S 32 YR. OLD

BARREL, POLE, & ROPE HORSE

Don and my first experience with Fastrack was in approximately 2000 when one of our favorite geldings, Hipshot, my daughter’s especially good barrel horse who had been retired for several years, was 28 yrs. old.  This was during an exceptionally hot summer where the temperatures stayed near or over 100 for several weeks without a break in the heat.  Hipshot went off his feed and began to drop weight, and of course, energy, quickly.  He barely had the energy to move around and for the first time in the 16 yrs. we had owned him, he wanted nothing to do with any type of feed.  This horse was so very special that we would have done anything to have more time with him as a healthy horse.  We, of course, had him to the vet who gave us several things to try to enhance his appetite…..plus we tried everything we could think of, but to no avail.  We saw him fading fast and it was breaking our heart, it was like he’d just “given up”.

Then one afternoon we had gone to a popular horse sale in a town near us and one of the booths there was a Conklin booth with Fastrack set up all over it for both animals and humans.  We stopped and talked to the IBO’s running the booth and after hearing what we were experiencing with Hipshot, they told us what all this probiotic has done for many, many horses.  Out of desperation we decided to try a bag (at that point we would have done anything because he had lost approximately 200 pounds and was fading so fast) and a tube of the gel.  Well, our prayers were answered and within a week Hipshot was eating again, within two weeks we could see a slight gain in weight which quickly made all the difference in the world in his strength and attitude.  He wanted to eat constantly and got to the point of playing with our other horses, beating them to the feed bucket morning and night.  To keep my story short, we were sooooooo impressed that we put every horse we had on Fastrack and they and Hipshot ALL felt so much better.  He gained all of his weight back quickly, got all of his strength back, and we got to enjoy that special guy for another few years until he was 32 yrs. old when we lost him to an impaction that due to age of his intestines, they just got too old to work anymore.  It was a GIANT loss for all of us, we all felt that we had been so blessed to have him in our lives for the 16 yrs. that we did.  I want to note, too, that for a 32 yr.old horse he just looked really good when he passed away.  We still have all of our horse’s on Fastrack and plan to always have them on it.  It’s been a life saver and a money saver many times.

“TE QUILA”

OUR 6 YR. OLD

CUTTING & REINING BRED AQHA STALLION

We have a stallion who injured his rear ankle when he was just a young colt.  It was severe enough that he got a large ankle and had lost the fluid out of the joint from  which you could literally hear the “bone against bone” scraping with each step.  The poor thing was in so much pain so we immediately began trying to find something to help him.  As we’ve been told several times before in circumstances such as this, the vets say there’s no hope and he should be put down.  Well, in God there IS hope and we are just hard headed enough to stand on that word and keep on trying.  After a short time we found a liquid that we could put in his feed and it did improve him a lot.  The joint fluid returned and he quit limping unless he hurt himself by playing and acting like a normal colt.  After Fortifier came out Don decided to speak to Conklin’s veterinarians and was told that what we’d been giving him was a “temporary fix” helping him daily but the Fortifier would repair the joint and improve it permanently.  For the time he has been on it (along with his Fastrack, of course) and off of the liquid we had him on for six years, he hasn’t been compensating for any lameness at all and he’s running normally now, playing and bucking without any limping.  His only sign that anything is wrong is that he does still have the large ankle.  He has been a servicing stallion for the past 2 yrs. and is sure siring some nice foals (by the way, the vets said he’d never be able to breed either, his ankle wouldn’t stand up to it………..it’s perfectly fine and he’s had no trouble at all with it during breeding season or before and after) <smile>.

“HONEY”

OUR 29 YR. OLD

RETIRED BARREL & POLE MARE

We also have our 29 yr. old buckskin AQHA mare on the Fortifier (and of course, Fastrack) due to her age.  She doesn’t show any arthritis or any other type of problems or illnesses, but Fortifier is for many things that we feel will aid in this “senior mare”.  She’s fat, happy, healthy, shiny, and alive at 29…….a BIG part of that is due to Fastrack.  We know she hasn’t many years with us but we raised this beautiful animal from the ground up (she’s out of my old buckskin mare who died at age 29 back in 1994) and she is so special to us.  She’s also the proud mama of another one of our testimonials, “Angel” who she had at the age of 22 after trying for years to get her pregnant with no success.   According to the vets there was nothing wrong physically with her, she was just an older maiden mare and would never get pregnant.  OOPS! WRONG AGAIN!!!  We bought our own stud, decided “what the heck, we may as well, he’s here and she’s here” and about a month later the ultra sound showed her to be in foal.  Needless to say, you could have heard me whooping and hollering for miles, I’m sure.  She made it through her pregnancy with no problems (on Fastrack) and for a maiden mare of 22 yrs. old to have an eventless pregnancy ending with a beautiful little filly, that’s quite an accomplishment.  BUT to continue the story, please read “Angel’s Testimonial” and the miracle that came of that.  Believe me, we will always be feeding all of our horses (as well as our dogs and ourselves), Fastrack.

“ANGEL”

OUR LITTLE MIRACLE

7 YR. OLD AQHA MARE

This testimonial still raises the hair on my arms when I really get to thinking about the entire situation and just how wonderful God was to Angel and us, and how Fastrack came to us through prayer for Hipshot.  As stated above in “Honey’s” story, Angel was born a miracle to begin with.  When she was about a week old she began having diarrhea off and on.  Normally the Fastrack would have stopped it completely or kept her from even having any (she’s our only foal that ever had diarrhea since we began all of our horses on the Fastrack gel).  In a day or two she started carrying her back leg up like she had injured it and wouldn’t walk on it at all.  We, of course, had the vet out and he said she had salmonella poisoning and that we may as well put her down as she would NEVER live with it.  BONG!! WRONG AGAIN!!! (Oh, I just LOVE it when they’re wrong like that…..LOL!!)  We, again, got just really hard headed and took her to OSU Large Animal Hospital where they doubted they could save her but wanted to give it a try <smile>.  She was in intensive care with high, high fevers, not eating, IV’s going everywhere, several surgeries where they put a screw into the bone in the stifle area and had to go in to inject the high powered antibiotics directly into the bone to kill out the salmonella poisoning.  And, yes, the vets there at the Hospital gave her Fastrack gel daily!!  With a lot of prayers she began to slowly get better and her temperatures dropping closer to normal.  She was in intensive care for approximately a month.  They called us one day and told us that she was ready to go home (quicker than they had thought it would be).  They told us then that she probably would never carry a foal OR to ever be ridden due to it being a weight bearing joint that the salmonella affected.  We had to take her back often for her x-rays and checkups and it wasn’t long until they said, “Well, ya know, I really think as well as she is doing…..she just might be able to be bred and carry a foal.” That really THRILLED us!!  Then several months went by and we had her in again for more x-rays and checkup and the vet said then he was just amazed at how well she was doing, he felt she could even be broke and ridden if it were done easily and slow”.  Of course, ALL of the positive things we were hearing just elated us as it had been such a stressful time for so long with this little miracle and now it truly was going to be something that we hoped and prayed for.  She shows absolutely NOTHING other than a scar where they went in and put the port in the bone.  No limping, no weakness, nothing.  See why we get excited about Fastrack??

To Make More Long Stories Short……………

(here’s some quick….but important…examples of other Fastrack “Testimonies”)

We seldom have a vet bill due to colic because of the probiotics helping the horses in so many ways whether it be their overall appearance of their hair coat, their feet improving so much, their stress factors being low in stressful situations, their immune system being so much better that they can fight off those bouts of illnesses, sick and older horses appetites returning and going on to their road to health. We raise babies and Fastrack has completely kept our foals from having diarrhea (excluding Angel but that was Salmonella poisoning and after her hospitalization, it began to have the chance to help her), therefore going on to be bigger, healthier, happier foals.

Above I’ve given a testimony on a 32 yr. old horse and a 29 yr. old horse.  We were also blessed with Major, another of Shala’s retired barrel horses.  He was a big healthy, fat, special gelding who passed away at 29 yrs. old with the same thing that was wrong with Hipshot.  We had him on Fastrack the whole time we had him and never had any problems with colic until one day he did colic and because of the age of his intestines, was unable to help him in anyway.  Sadly, we had to have him put down.  He ran barrels last when he was 27 yrs. old and felt great.

******************************

We’ve had several horses who have gone off of their feed for one reason or another, which was something that seldom happened at our house since we discovered and began using Fastrack powder and gel.  We have gone out (if we knew there was a problem and usually we did) and given them 4 cc’s of Fastrack gel and within 15 to 30 min. they would be over eating and feeling fine.  Many times it was such a slight problem and we caught it fast enough that a vet didn’t even have to be called, let alone a vet bill paid.  There is so much peace of mind having that gel in the refrigerator just in case something comes up.  A horse’s digestive system is the most delicate of any animal and the good bacteria that Fastrack puts into that horse’s stomach, fighting and killing the bad bacteria, is of such benefit.   Remember, the Fastrack Microbial powder is a daily maintenance and the gel is for emergency quick fixes stemming from stressful times like hauling, working, antibiotic treatment, training, refusing feed or water, injury, etc.

I could never leave out our dogs.  They, too, are on Fastrack and on the Senior dog pills (that they think is a “treat”).  They are shiny, fat, healthy, calm, and happy!  Now and then our little poodle, Shadow, decides he will eat something from the front yard when he goes out for his walks.  Now and then, but VERY seldom, he will go off his feed for a short time until I notice it and give him the Fastrack gel (which he licks off the syringe to get the last drop).  In a few minutes I hear him over there, “crunch, crunch, crunch” and all is normal.

Our outside dog, Cowboy, just seems to never get sick or go off his feed or water.  He’s the most energetic dog I’ve ever seen (if you know what I mean) and his haircoat is so shiny and pretty, and well as he, too, is fat and happy.

**********************************

Last but not least, Don and I both are on Conklin’s Probiotic Pills.  I had had my gallbladder out in 1991 and I had so much stomach trouble, not being able to eat hardly anything (and definitely NOTHING spicy or greasy).  This went on throughout the years and I stayed sick most of the time.  When we began as IBO’s with Conklin we decided to try some of them, it did the horse’s so much good.  Sure enough, it has helped tremendously.  I had not had a hamburger in 11 yrs. as my stomach just would not tolerate it (among other things like that) and I wanted one so bad but it wasn’t worth the suffering.  After I’d been on my probiotics for a short time, I decided I’d try one and did.  Oh, my……..that was the best thing I had ever eaten!! LOL!!!  I eat them anytime now as well as Chinese food, some Mexican foods, about anything American, etc.

I have arthritis in several joints in my body and have had several disks and joints degenerate, as well as collapsing in my spine.  I’ve had to have some removed from my ankle and a couple of toes where they had to fuse those.  At one point both my knees had arthritis but since taking the Conklin Joint Support pills for several years now, my knees no longer bother me at all and I would hate to think of what the pain would be in my back, neck, hands, and ankle if I wasn’t taking the pills.   It was much worse back before I began taking them.

We both feel their vitamins and other supplements we take are helping us both in many ways.  Don has been living on oxygen from COPD and an injury to his lungs for many years and he still has a lot of stamina plus his immune system is much better than it was before he began taking these supplements.

These are only a few of the extremely great things this product has done, not only for the horse population on Fastrack, but all the other animals that are getting this wonderful, natural, additive daily.  Our dogs are on it and we are even on it.  If we had cattle, goats, pigs, sheep, etc., believe me they, too, would be on it.   Please click on the Fastrack links and see for yourself on the Conklin site all the advantages and the hundreds of products they offer, as well as the opportunity of making money while using these products.

Please take the time to read each testimony and hopefully they will help you with a problem you or your animals may have had, or others you haven’t.  If there is anything at all we can help you with, please let us know.  Also, if you would like the opportunity to become a Conklin IBO we’ll be happy to answer any question you may have and help you get started like many others have.  Just email us at don0579@att.net or call us at (405) 273-9208 or (405) 246-5455.

Thanks and hope to hear from you soon!!!!
