Guess I’m supposed to attempt to do a biography about Don and myself and our horse-related business, D-Bar-M Enterprises.  This includes D-Bar-M Saddles, Tack, and Fastrack, as well as D-Bar-M Quarter and Paint Horses.  As you will see during the development of this website, just about anything and everything to do with horses, and other animals, is included and will be added as our construction on the website is finished. Right now it’s well on it’s way but there are still things to be done.  Please come back often as we are adding goods for sale and lots of information constantly.  We hope you will visit the entire site and learn some of the things that we have learned over the years regarding our passion for our equine and canine friends that God has so graciously given to us to care for in the best way we can possibly do while they are on this earth with us.  We believe, as many, many other livestock owners and companion lovers that we have found that “way” through Fastrack.

To begin, first and foremost, is a bit of information about Don & I and our family.  We were married 40 yrs. ago and spent the first months of our marriage with Don “cowboying” on a huge cattle ranch in Kansas.  This was my first experience of being “in the country” and around horses…..which I’d ALWAYS wanted to do.  Being raised in the city, I never had had that chance and from that first moment I have said, you’ll never get me out of the country or give up my horses now.  And thank God, I’ve never had to go back to the big city to live.  I’m country through and through.  We even had our own little “cowgirl” who is probably more country than either of us……..if that’s possible.  Shala has been in love with horses since she got her first one when she was about 7 or 8 yrs. old. She began barrel racing at about 11 yrs. old and we just didn’t see her much off of a horse’s back from that time on…….still don’t.  She has given us 3 beautiful girls (Britney-20 yrs. old, Niki-18 yrs. old, and Melissa-16 yrs. old) who, for a time, followed in her footsteps as far as thinking they had to have horses and run barrels.  They still ride now and then and all 3 still love the horses.  Then two years ago Shala & Bruce gave us a darling little boy………..our “cowboy”……and he is just as wild about the horses as the rest of this family is.  He’s been riding since he was about 3 months old and once you sit him up there, it’s next to impossible to get him off……..he wants to “WIDE horsey”!!!!! 

Don and I have been in the “saddle and tack business” for approximately 30 yrs. off and on but now that we are retired we decided to try it again and offer our customers top quality new and used saddles.  Don cleans a “mean used saddle” let me tell ya.  He’s very good and precise at it and they turn out looking near new when he cleans and conditions and does whatever they need to be like one we’d want to own and ride ourselves.  Our list is not on the webpages just yet, it’s still under construction but when it’s done we will offer descriptions and photos of each of them.  Please feel free to email us at don0579@att.net, call us at (405) 273-0208 or cell is (405) 246-5455.  Will be happy to answer your questions anytime and if you’d like, email more photos to you, etc.
